Kevin Ash likes the R1200RT and his reviews are usually a reliable barometer. I took my R1150RT in for its MOT Test today. It also needed new front brake pads so I had that done at the same time. Of course this meant waiting in a BMW showroom for an hour or so among all those brand new shiny bikes. Not least a couple of fresh off the assembly line R1200RTs. I’m in love; that must be it. I really, really, really want one of these bikes.
Given my recent move to self employment and having to build up sufficient business to have a reliable income, that is at least a year away. How will I contain myself?
