It is difficult to imagine that this truly appalling government could get any worse. Yet, daily, they manage it.
Nuisance neighbours are to be evicted by police officers, under plans revealed by the Home Secretary.
Home owners, private renters and council tenants will be affected by the new rules, to be used to tackle noise and rowdy or threatening behaviour.
While I have every sympathy with people who suffer from antisocial neighbours, let us not forget what this nasty little proposal means:
But human rights group Liberty condemned the reforms as ‘punishment without trial’.
That’s exactly what it is.
