That Prince among men, the producer of bland uninspiring pap, Pretentious Prince thinks that living in a theocracy might be a spiffing idea.
Sometimes he seems a little too fond of boundaries. “It’s fun being in Islamic countries, to know there’s only one religion. There’s order. You wear a burqa. There’s no choice. People are happy with that.” But what about women who are unhappy about having to wearing burqas? “There are people who are unhappy with everything,” he says shruggingly. “There’s a dark side to everything.”
Yeah, there’s a dark side, like oh, women being treated as second class citizens, not being allowed to drive, or their word being half the value of that of a man. Or people being stoned to death for adultery, I bet that’s fun, or what about homosexuals being hanged from cranes or women executed for being raped? Oh, yes, what fun it is. Jolly japes all round, what?
I always considered this shallow self-obsessed little man to be a pompous poltroon, now I am convinced of it. And, no I have never bought the tedious warbling he passes off as music and never shall.
The fella sounds like he would feel right at home in such a despotic environment. I suggest he offers his services to the Saudis forthwith.
They wouldn’t let hem play his music, though…
No, true. So the infidel West can’t be too bad at all can it?
What a little twerp.
Poster boy for a republic.
