Firefox, the web browser form Mozilla, was launched on the 9th November. So significant is the launch of a product that rivals a Microsoft offering, is that it made the BBC. I have to say, I am a convert. I’ve been using the beta versions for several months now and have become used to it. Not only the inbuilt ad blocking and tighter security, but the extensions. My all time favourite has to be the mouse gestures. I can flip forwards and backwards with a flick of the mouse. Neat.
Download a copy and try it – you’ll be pleasantly surprised. You will also find that IE loses its appeal.
