Blogging in Iran can be dangerous according to the Beeb. Apparently the authorities are clamping down on bloggers because they are seen as dissidents. Currently Arash Sigarchi and Mojtaba Saminejad are both in prison. It seems they used their blogs to criticize the detention of other bloggers.
Freedom of speech is not something the Iranian authorities value. So here we have a regime that detains people because the government considers them a threat.
Er….where have we heard that before?
