Some while back I was asked about the slow loading of this blog and the interminable links in the side-bar. Well, I’ve been tinkering under the bonnet. The links are now in drop down boxes and everything seems to load fairly quickly. I’ve also ditched some of the buttons and clutter, too. Less of a face lift; more of a nip and tuck.

the typeface you use has the effect of making a cl combination look like a d I wondered what a DUTTER was; nice word but a bit confusing.
It’s Arial (or helvetica, if you prefer). Not my preferred choice, but I’ve not succeeded in getting the CSS to play nice with me. I want to change it to Verdana as used in my sidebar.
“Dutter” – a new verb, perhaps… To dutter, I dutter, he dutters… what, I wonder is duttering and is it an arrestable offence?

Duttering is now an arrestable offence. There are several individuals currently languishing in Belmarsh awaiting trial for Duttering in a public place, and without due care and attention.
In fact everything is now an arrestable offence.
