  1. Irises, the second most beautiful flower on the planet after Cyclamen. The Yellow Flags in my garden are just coming into flower, one of the high spots of the year. Actually make that joint second along with Poppies.

  2. The Provencal Iris will be out in a day or so – a red and yellow varierty. If you like poppies, here is a picture of some I took during June a couple of years back growing wild on the roadside.

  4. Indeed I am. I like to experiment with new plants to see what works. I didn’t do so well with fuchsia last year as the harsh winter killed them all off. The temporary greenhouse wasn’t sufficient to protect them.
