While on the subject of photography, here’s another from my archives. I hadn’t long bought my Nikon E5700. At the time, it was an expensive prosumer compact. DSLRs were way out of my price range. Since then, I’ve switched back to an SLR.
I was staying in Newcastle for a workshop and took the camera and tripod out to take some evening shots when the day was finished. This is one of the collection I took that evening.

Must have been a while ago (2008 if that sign on the side is anything to go by;) the “Tuxedo Rustbucket” was finally taken away 4 years ago.
