  1. Rest, rest and more rest. After 6 days of it this is the first day I feel reasonably ok. So do rest as much as you can. You will get better – honestly. 🙂

    • it’s been dragging on since May when I first went down with it. I’ve had recurring bouts over the past six weeks, so I’m going to see the quack today. That said, I feel almost sprightly this morning after a weekend lolling about feeling good for nothing and having cancelled two days’ work and let my client down.

  2. Get well soon LR…having a grotty illness in summer is like seeing someone with a deep spraytan in the depths of winter…it’s just plain wrong ! We have seasons for reasons, dammit !

    • The doctor says it’s viral, so rest and self-management, which is what I would normally do anyway. The only reason I bothered her is because it’s been dragging on for six weeks and I’ve had to start cancelling work.
