Those who are paying attention to the climate issue are suggesting that it might be about to get quite a lot colder in the near future. Everyone is very much aware that predicting weather more than a few days in advance is very difficult, however there are one or two rather ominous pointers. Is it too much to hope that, should the Earth enter a cooling phase, the climate change hysteria will die a death?
I was rather hoping that there was some truth in the global warming malarkey – a bit of warmer weather would be just the ticket…
Yes I missed the meeting that said if the world gets just 2C warmer it will burst into flames too. Who decided that a Spring day in 1956 is the ideal temperature for the world?
There was an experiment back in the 80s and 90s called Biosphere in the States. Hermetically sealed domes with various habitats in them. The proportion of CO2 went up from 380ppm to 800ppm, more than double the current atmosphere count. The desert area began to turn into Savanna. CO2 is plant food not poison.
