      • I think you may be missing the point I’m making here. According to intersectional politics, everything should be equal. What we are seeing, however, is not equality, but a strive for dominance. Applying their rulebook – not mine, because I don’t care about their version of equality – there should be an equal number of men and women, an equal number of black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Muslim, Hindu and Jew… There are not, therefore they fail on the diversity front by their own measure. And we have seen for ourselves that third wave feminism is attempting to eradicate men from positions of influence. This is the BBC playing to that rule – or is it really true that all of Britain’s busiest broadcasters are all women? Really? I think not.

        • I have made no assumptions. Indeed, the only one making them here is you. Okay, broadcasting has been poisoned by the regressive left and their mantra of equality and diversity. This cover struck me as highlighting their hypocrisy and it amused me enough to raise the point.

I would posit that had the cover been titled “busiest people in theatre’ and feature Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ben Kingsley and Gary Oldman, you’re original post would not exist.

I remind you of Alinksy’s rule number five. However, you are right. I wouldn’t have raised an eyebrow. That’s because I have not been poisoned with the equality and diversity nonsense. I’m old fashioned enough to believe that competence and competence alone should suffice for selection and recruitment – not skin colour or what people have in their pants.

        • Actually, I am fully prepared to accept that they are the busiest broadcasters. Which tells us that there is no more work to be done on gender equality in broadcasting.

  1. All white women. But women are the greatest of communicators. We learn our language from our mothers. Sadly that is why so many children just grunt. They have idiot mothers who do not know how to bring up a child and wouldn’t know a nursery rhyme if it hit them between the eyes. I expect nothing less than white women presenters in a European country. They do however need lessons in not interrupting male politicians when they are pontificating their usual nonsense.
