File this one under two headings – on the one hand, justice has been done and other other, oh dear, how sad, never mind.

A man who suffocated a suspected burglar while performing a citizen’s arrest has been cleared of manslaughter.

Nathan Smith, 38, knelt on 43-year-old Craig Wiltshire’s back for nine minutes in the early hours of November 20, 2019 after tackling him in the street.

He refused to ease off even when the victim twice told him he could not breathe, telling him “I don’t give a s**t what you can and can’t do”.

Mr Wiltshire died in hospital on December 4, two weeks after he was apprehended.

The justice system has worked here precisely as it should. As for the scrote that died – well, I did look around for a tiny violin, but frankly, they don’t make them small enough. His death was entirely his own doing and no reasonable person will miss him. Indeed, the world became a better place when he left it. Smith did Bristol a massive favour taking this POS off the streets.

Prosecutor James Ward cited insults hurled by Smith at the victim including calling him a “piece of s**t” as proof he wanted to hurt him.

Nah, that was merely an accurate description.

          • Another is the YouTube channel “Tireroaster’s Garage”. The guy who runs it has posted several videos taken while following this convoy, and while his frequent “Yeeee Haaaas” get a bit grating, there’s no doubt that this convoy is NOT just a few cranks, as Trudeau likes to call them. Seeing mile after mile of people standing beside roads, and on overpasses in MINUS 30 DEGREE temperatures is quite something…

      • A convoy consisting of over 50,000 trucks, stretching for 75km and accompanied by 1.4 million people. Trudeau referred to it as “a small fringe minority”. Boy, has he got a shock coming..

        • So I see. It had bypassed me. There is a backlash building and the narrative is collapsing. In the meantime, the diehards are clinging on for all they are worth.

  2. One thing I couldn’t work out was that “The Scrote” was allegedly responsible for a spate of burglaries which preceded his citizens arrest and subsequent death. Did the spate of burglaries stop after he died?

  3. No tears from me. I am very pleased this good citizen was recognised as exactly that, a good citizen doing his duty until a police officer arrived. One less piece of shit in the UK.

    • A report on Gab says that Farcebook has removed their page twice, the GoFundMe page has been taken down, and now numerous traffic cameras have gone offline…

      • The government have also started to close the roads, using weather conditions as an excuse. They won’t be stopped. I’m hearing that the convoy has now reached 100,000 trucks and is 480km long. Loads of American truckers have joined them. Trudeau is shitting his pants right now.
