Mary Shelley

Mary Shelley was ahead of her time.

Transwomen will be able to get a life-changing womb transplant in the ‘near future’, leading fertility experts have claimed.

The huge scientific breakthrough would give biological males the chance to carry a child, a feat currently impossible.

It would still be impossible without caesarean section because the male pelvis is not designed for giving birth.

Gender dysphoria is a mental condition. No other mental condition is treated with brutal surgery and hormone replacement therapy. This is beyond hideous.

Wombs could come from deceased women and donors who have decided to have their own reproductive organs removed — which can happen when women decide to become men.

Women can’t become men. They can mutilate their bodies to look like men. See also transwomen.

Campaigners argue transgender women should have the same right to carry a child as a woman born female.

Monty Python were ahead of their time, too. Men do not have the right to bear a child because that is not how our bodies are designed.

But not everyone agrees.  Some critics have labeled the prospect as a ‘selfish exercise’ by transwomen that is ‘insulting’ to motherhood.

You can add me to that list.

Dr Rebecca Flyck, lead author of the new article, said not opening the surgery up to transwomen would be a form of discrimination.

Fuck off. Seriously, fuck the fuck off. We are governed by out DNA. If that is discrimination, then suck it up and live with it.

‘As we increasingly recognise a history of inequality and discrimination for transgender women, we must question whether it is acceptable that transgender women are denied access to clinical trials based on their gender identity and trans status,’ she said.

Yup, it is acceptable to recognise biological reality and the roles of the two sexes in reproduction. Creating Frankenstein’s monster is not a solution.

She added that giving transwomen wombs would help address the mental anguish they suffered by not being able to fully embrace their gender identity.

‘Further, as studies accumulate revealing high levels of depression and suicidality in trans women and demonstrate the emotional impact of reduced procreative ability in this population, we must consider the potential benefits of bringing uterus transplantation to transwomen,’ she said.

You see that they do recognise that we are dealing with a mental condition. To use brutal, life changing surgery as a solution is positively medieval. What happened to ‘first, do no harm?’

  1. Jesus wept, we’re awake and living in a nightmare.
I was raised a Catholic boy but like many am a poor lapsed soul, am rapidly coming to the conclusion that real evil by whatever name it might be known walks among us in positions of power and influence.

  2. The massive swing in the hormones that occur so that a woman can:

    1) Shut down releasing an ovum every month
    2) Change the uterus so that she no longer has a monthly period and so abort the foetus
3)Prepare the body for the strains of bearing a child (such as loosening the connective tissue that holds the pelvis together)
    4) Prepare the breasts to produce milk (not silicone)

Would kill a man or, to make it clear, someone with a Y chromosome.

Still, if this adds to the 40% of transsexuals that commit suicide them it can be waved around as MORE discrimination against them and lead to demands for more resources to be devoted to this tiny minority.

  3. It’s impossible to disagree with any of your comments on this, Mr Longrider.

This really is like Frankenstein’s monster. These “experts” think they can create supposedly female bodies that are as good as real biological female bodies which are the products of millions of years of evolution.

    • I liked the bit where they would need to shave down the blood vessels to fit as if they are just bits of pipe. What could possibly go wrong? Oh, yeah, blood clots.

      • It’s remarkable how, whenever great evil is committed in this world, Doctors and the medical profession are amongst the leaders of that evil. From Papa ‘Doc’ Duvalier, right back to the Japanese and Germans experimenting on prisoners in WW2, and the current calls for radical regendering surgery on children, and full-term abortion (aka infanticide).
The medics are too easily swayed by their power and what is possible to do, rather than what ought to be done.

  4. I think that it maybe unlikely that such a grotesque experiment would ever be done. If it was done I seriously doubt that it has any chance of being successful. They are going to ruin someone’s life if they do try it. Sure that someone is going to be a volunteer but I doubt that that volunteer will be giving fully informed consent. The possibility that the whole thing will be a disaster is likely to be played down.

  5. I have no objection to people having wombs installed, although I think the idea is lunacy. But I have zero desire to pay for the surgery and follow on care. Let ‘them’ pay for it.

Whatever next? Make up on the NHS, tattoos on the NHS?

  6. When trans women start having periods, PMT and then the menopause and all its problems, I’m sure they will regret their choice and want to be men again.

  7. I seem to recall a science fiction story of some years ago, when a group of men were marooned on a planet and one of them (either volunteered, or chosen through the ‘shortest straw’ method), was surgically altered into becoming what passed as a female for whatever reason. After reading the story, I thought it was more horror than SF. Now, that fictional horror appears to be coming true. Let’s hope we all die out before it happens.

  8. Birth certificates etc. ought to be re drafted to account for modern circumstances. The terms male/female should be replaced by a more accurate terminology like XX/XY.

  9. Further, as studies accumulate revealing high levels of depression and suicidality in trans women

    Huh?
I thought that the depression and regret were just false propaganda from anti-trans Nazi genocidalists, and that everyone who went through gender surgery found themselves in a happy utopia of joy and contentment.

I guess that changes depending on needs of the author/day of the week. Must be Tuesday…
