I had a brilliant lap, apart from the fog in the mountains!
I’m surprised the nanny state allow the TT to continue to be held. I’d have thought it’s one of the things they’d try to ban, because of ‘elf ‘n’ safety.
The Isle of Man has its own laws. It’s why the TT was started. Westminster has no say in the matter.
The TT is held on the IOM specifically because, over a hundred years ago, the stuffy UK government wouldn’t allow roads to be closed for motorcycle racing. They asked the Manx government and they said yeah why not.
