This old watermill is at the bottom of the Cirque de Navacelles. The best part of an hour’s walk from the road (although the signs tell us it’s half an hour – they lied.)

My favourite so far. It has an other worldly quality about it.

Looks well worth the walk.

Thankyou all. I’ll be including it on this year’s Longrider calendar.
Fantastic photo.

It really does. It’s amazingly green and lush. Presumably the pathway to it is overgrown now? Pity, as the view from it would be wonderful.

Not at all. It’s a shale pathway that is relatively easily walked. It’s steep, mind and the shale is a bit loose underfoot, making the walking a little more difficult than normal. I rather wished I had a walking stick with me.
The views are, indeed, quite stunning.
That is a beautiful picture. Thank you very much.
