Felix Domesticus

One of the casualties of my recent hosting difficulties is Felix Domesticus. I have backed up the database, but for the moment it is off-line while I consider its future. Although it had a following it was a very small one. I may just post my cat pictures here.

Following the move to France, the Felix Domesticus cats are slowly settling in. Just before the snow started falling in earnest, Nefertiti and Bast decided to take a peek at the great outdoors via the bedroom window.

  1. I’m assuming that Bast is a reference to Egyptian goddess and not just your idle refusal to type the last syllable… 🙂

Good to see you back LR, teriffic New Year to thee and thine…

  2. I’m trying to imagine the expressions on our two indoor Siamese at being confronted with weather like that, but I don’t think I can. They rush behind the sofa if we crack open the conservatory door and let in too much of a draft!

Hope you have a great New Year!

  3. Mac, indeed, the Egyptian goddess. However, being small, rotund and tabby, she is nothing like her namesake.

Julia, since the snow started, only Ahmose has ventured outside. Bast gave one of the neighbouring cats what for through the kitchen window the other day and stalked off well proud of herself. The cat outside was most bemused by the whole thing.
