Interesting! “Sarfraz Manzoor” says ‘no’, and “William Atkinson” says ‘yes’. Actual black person doesn’t want positive discrimination, guilty white liberal does. No surprises there.
And I love the caption to the photo: “Is the lack of ethnic diversity at Oxbridge a race or a class issue?”, as if it’s one or the other (well, in The Guardian it always is, but let that pass). No, dear, it’s an educational issue. If you’re good enough, they will take you; if you aren’t, they won’t. Regardless of your colour or class, which is how it should be.
No, no surprises. It’s comforting in a strange sort of way.
There’s either discrimination, or there’e no discrimination.
Just like the Grauniad.
I’m banned from comments (for “racism”) because, as an atheist, I was truthful about – guess which religion … ?
You do surprise me… 😐
And, of course, the Groan cannot understand that Islam is not a race.
