Watching Colonel Gadaffi ranting on the television today, the voiceover said that he is not relaxing his grip on power. Unlike, of course, his grip on reality 👿 I see a Ceausescu moment looming on this one. |

The opportunity for Gadaffi to hope for a Saddam style trial and hanging has passed, too many dead and too much anarchy. When the tyrant is finally cornered by elements of his own military, the country will likely be in full blown civil war, with different parts of the military fighting each other. His captors will want to show his death on television in order to quell any of his supporters still fighting.
So yes, the most likely outcome is a Ceausescu style execution. And a well deserved one. Unless, of course he manages to escape to spend his final days with that other tyrant, his new best friend, Chavez.
Every time I see him I get to thinking “Last time I saw eyes in that condition, was after a weekend 50 joints of Haze and bud, plus mushy session.”
That is hios problem. He is PERMANENTLY fucking STONED off his face.
It would not surprise me greatly if there were eventually to be some form of outside intervention in this one.
After all, all that luverly oil……
He may have made you smile, but William Hague appearing on Television tonight almost made me weep, or was it scream with rage.
But one thing was clear, if I’m abroad and a crisis breaks out, I’m on my own, unless I can scrounge some help from the French, Irish or Russians.
