In Which I agree With William Hague

William Hague has hit back at Labour leader Ed Miliband’s attempt to snatch the mantle of the “one nation” party from the Conservatives.

Mr Miliband grabbed headlines last week by saying he had sought inspiration from Tory Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli for his new slogan.

The idea that Millipede Minor is anywhere near capable of taking over Disraeli’s mantle is risible in the extreme. The man is a buffoon and worthy only of utter contempt. Another Disraeli he ain’t. Not even close. Fucking lackwit, maybe. One of the cretins responsible for the mess this country is in, definitely. That anyone is idiotic enough to take this man seriously is deeply, deeply worrying and an indication of the malaise that envelopes this country.

  1. Yes, except that by saying that, Hague has implicitly admitted that one-nationism is something desirable. Not the greatest PR move, nor do I think it’s a great recommendation to support these particular Tories: “A place for everyone, and everyone in their place!”

Sheesh. It’s not 1850 any more.

  2. I cannot believe any sane person listens to a single word uttered at these party stroking festivals. Every human being speaking there is a liar, every last one of them. Pity Hamza wasn’t extradited on a jumbo if he were he could have been accompanied by the entire parliament.
