Well, I finally got my hands on the R80R I agreed to buy last summer. There are still a few bits and bobs to sort (screen, panniers, grab-rail, clock), but basically, it’s a very nice – recently refurbished – modern classic. There’s something raw about an old airhead boxer. It’s like motorcycling was when I started riding. You can feel it and it makes a nice noise, too…
Given the increasing rarity of these old bikes, it is an investment as well.
Lovely classic. I’m a Triumph man myself, wanted a 1969 T120 Bonnie but the cost of a restored one was prohibitive, so I ended up with a 2010 Hinckley Bonnie.

This one came up at a reasonable price so I couldn’t resist.
She is a stunner 🙂
