A tiny German village with 102 inhabitants and “no infrastructure” has been told to accommodate 750 refugees, as the country struggles to provide shelter for large numbers of people crossing its borders.
Sumte, a one-street settlement of farm houses in Lower Saxony with no shops, no school and no police station, will see its first group of refugees arrive on Monday – raising the population by more than 700 per cent overnight.
There’s something darkly comic about this situation. Anyone with a grain of sense realises that this is pure stupidity bashing against reality. Where will these people go? Mrs L commented that this would be like expecting 500 people to be put up in the village we lived in, in France. Likewise, there simply was nowhere. Even if everyone gave up available room in their houses, there still wouldn’t be enough room.
Sooner or later, the German people are going to get really, really pissed off and it won’t be pretty.
When you consider that the German people have spent the last 60 years in shame trying to rid themselves of the racist attitudes of their forefathers, it seems incredibly ironic that Merkel is now challenging those people to absorb, pay for and love literally hundreds of thousands of (Muslim) immigrants.
Your point is spot on. I struggle to see how this policy can continue without it getting very ugly indeed at some point.
You’d hope that sooner or later the German people would come to their senses, but really i’m not so sure it’s going to happen, any more than the British lion is going to re-awaken and realising finally that it’s country has been sold from under it finally kick off about it.
The whole of western europe has been subject to 50 years of socialist propaganda and gradual but constant national demise, brainwashed into a largely compliant weak stupor.
The lunatics truly are running the asylum, and the few that are still capable of independent thought and can see through it are sadly few in number are mostly known and will easily be contained, the sleeping bamboozled sheep like majority are quite possibly now incapable of knowing, as my old friend used to put it, which pot to piss in without being told.
I should like to mark that I said this months ago when Merkel was being manipulated by the photo of the child killed by his father’s stupidity.
The East Germans have had barely a generation to establish themselves back in to a country. Having spent almost 45 years under Soviet rule they were never going to take kindly to finding themselves under an occupying force again, expected to budge-up and surrender their dreams.
As for trying not to commit the sins of the past: if you are worried about protecting your remaining stock of Jews, Gypsies and homosexuals, importing several million Muslims is not the way to go.
Merkel could have won an argument based on allowing in identified Christians. Had she done that, she would have found a group much easier to integrate and a population much more willing to engage with them.
I believe that Germany could easily tip in to civil war. The Germans are not frightened of a ruck.
Once upon a time, we weren’t too timid to start one either…

A horde of unusually dark-hued people, most of them with shiny new German passports, all with suspiciously good English or French, yet somehow all barely able to speak a word of German, is going to be pretty hard to miss.
Also, contrary to what the ignorant arts graduates in much of the news media appear to believe, the UK isn’t a signatory to the Schengen Treaty (which is an entirely separate thing from the EU), which is *why* there are thousands of economic migrants in Calais still insulting the honour* of France.
* (These people are literally telling the world that France isn’t good enough for them. Why are the French okay with this slap in the face?)
It would be difficult enough if the ‘refugees’ were grateful, law-abiding people desperate to make the most of their new chance and determined to fit in and integrate and give something back to their host country.

Australia has agreed to take 12000 refugees from camps. Before he was knifed in the back by the treacherous, dishonourable snake Turnbull and bitch Bishop, Tony Abbott said that they would concentrate on Christian refugees. After the predictable clamour from Muslims and lefties, this was amended to refugees from all persecuted minorities. During a photo opportunity in Jordan, Immigration Minister, Peter Dutton, found time to dish out visas to 4 families. Two were Christian, the other two Sunni, i.e. 50% were from the Medieval Cult’s sect that ISIS is comprised of.
