The interfering US politicians are getting told where to get off.
Eurosceptic MPs have rounded in on John Kerry for intervening in the debate over Britain’s membership of the European Union – with one even advising the Secretary of State to look at the US Declaration of Independence.
Speaking days before EU leaders gather at a crucial summit in Brussels to decide on the fate of David Cameron’s renegotiation demands, Mr Kerry said the US had a “profound interest” in a “strong UK staying in a strong EU”.
I seem to recall a few years back, the Americans understandably getting a mite irritated when the Guardian tried to influence one of their presidential campaigns.
The same applies here. I don’t give a flying fuck for their “profound interest”. I only care about the UK’s interests. This is a UK vote. As the US politicians are not UK voters, it is none of their concern and we will thank them to fuck off. And that is precisely what our politicians are telling them – albeit more politely than I am, and quite rightly, too.
It has been reported that Obama’s father was a Mau-Mau thug. Like father like son. If Obama wants Britain to stay in Europe, it is because he thinks that it will not be to our advantage. If Obama says stay in, we should all vote out.
Britain is in Europe and will be for the next million years. Russia and Belarus are in Europe too.
You give Obama too much credit. He only cares about himself. If staying in the EU is good for Obama, he will want us to stay in. If getting out is good for Obama, he will want us to get out. He does not care in the slightest about benefiting or harming the UK.
Whatever Obama’s father was has nothing to do with him.
