Convoluted Thinking Here

Truly the world is going to the dogs.

Christians should pray for Prince George to be gay to force support for same-sex marriage in the Church of England, a senior Anglican minister and LGBTQ campaigner has said.

The Very Rev Kelvin Holdsworth, provost of St Mary’s Cathedral in Glasgow, made the comments in a blog he reposted about LGBTQ inclusion in the Church of England following the announcement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement.

In the post, he writes that Christians should pray “for the Lord to bless Prince George with a love, when he grows up, of a fine young gentleman”.

Christianity is doomed. Doomed, I tell you. Not being one myself, I don’t pray at all and have no desire to start – waste of time and effort, frankly. However, this man is supposed to be a representative of his particular brand of God bothering and he should be aware of its doctrines; and praying for the future head of his church to be a sodomite really isn’t in there anywhere. Quite the opposite.

Islam, meanwhile, waits in the wings. Islam has no such concerns about its doctrine on such matters.

  1. That’s the C of E I think you’ll find. The Roman Catholic church is much more robust and has nothing to do with such heresy.

    • Unfortunately, recent widely publicised occurrences – both past and present – would suggest that that certainty is somewhat misplaced.

  2. It’s not Christianity, it is the insipid, right-on, liberal Church of England, a haven of course for homosexual men. Love it or hate it, the Roman Catholic church is far more robust even though it attracts its fair share of similar priests.
