Uh Huh?

Okay.

“Revoking Article 50, and thereby remaining in the European Union, would undermine both our democracy and the trust that millions of voters have placed in government.”

The department said while it acknowledged the “considerable number” of people who had signed the petition, the government had written to every household prior to the 2016 referendum promising the outcome of the referendum would be implemented and people voted with that understanding.

“17.4 million people then voted to leave the European Union, providing the biggest democratic mandate for any course of action ever directed at UK government,” said the department’s statement.

So, er, why haven’t we, then?

  1. Because these traitors still believe they know what is best for us. They still think we were and are stupid. They KNOW we voted the wrong way. The choice as it turns out via May’s WA awful treaty was Remain or Remain?

  2. The problem is that the leavers winning the referendum wasn’t in the script. The whole point of having the referendum was for the remainers to win and, as a consequence UKIP to be kicked into the long grass.

Remember the leaflet that you got explaining what the referendum was about? It stated that the government would abide by the result as I recall. It also told us which way to vote.
