Nuts

Really!

Police have arrested seven men including a suspect in his sixties linked to a ‘bizarre’ castration cult who have intimate body parts removed live on pay per view streams all orchestrated by a ringleader nicknamed ‘The Eunuch Maker’, it was revealed today.

Words fail me. Did they use anaesthetic?

The Nullo movement has grown in popularity in recent years. There are extreme cases where people are castrated for cannibalistic or sexual desires – but the majority remove their genitals because they don’t identify as male or female. Many opt for a ‘smoothie’ – a procedure that leaves them with a fully smooth groin.

Actually, this is not a new thing. The Hijra in India have been known to do this, but even so, there’s got to be something seriously wrong to want to do it. Brings tears to the eyes and all that.

  1. I’m clearly not a legal expert, but what actual crime has been committed?
Assuming all participants were consenting adults, of course, what’s the problem?

  2. I would imagine that you need to be a qualified medical professional to perform surgery on someone? I’d hope so, anyway.

  3. At least it means that nutters with those inclinations will not then be able to breed more of their ilk. Darwin at work again.

    • I would agree with the caveat that whoever does it carries some responsibility – for example a sterilised environment and equipment to avoid infection. There’s also the issue mentioned above about bleeding to death, which would be highly likely given the amount of blood vessels in the area and I doubt that is what they are signing up for.

  4. I believe there was a Christian Russian cult, the Skoptsy. who also practiced self castration of men and breast removal of women.

Why arrest them though? What crime have they committed? Unless the ‘harm’ comes under the catch all of the Blair era communications act.
