There are some dogs and they can have expressions that make it almost impossible not to anthropomorphize. Ditto cats.

We blamed the mysterious appearance of a dead mouse on the doormat on ‘Snowy’ our alpha female cat. She refused to own up despite my telling her to ‘play the white cat’ and admit it: she claimed some Russian cats had brought it. (She said they had snow on their paws.)
It’s what Russian cats do. One of mine is half Russian blue. I’m thinking I should impose sanctions.
Everyone I’ve shown it to thinks it’s hilarious, but I am selective as to who I show it to.
It made me fold up. Reminds me of Denver the guilty dog.
BTW LR – not sure if you have seen the WHO warning that ‘the pandemic isn’t over and pointing to rising cases in the UK’ as proof ‘we still need to be careful’ – might be grounds for another post if you have had a frustrating day,,,,
I have noticed. I had a long tiring day today, so won’t be posting. Indeed, I’m having an early night.
