None of this is new. We all knew about it, despite the denials. This is why the far left were so upset at Musk taking over Twitter, because now the rock has been lifted and the creatures are squirming in the light. Good. More of this. The other tech platforms are having to come clean.

Presumably the big tech companies know that lefty governments will eliminate competition from smaller businesses so that they can build themselves a nice little monopoly. They appear to be oblivious of twentieth century history and how the Government deals with people who have become too powerful and then become to be perceived as a threat. In the meantime, let’s sit back and watch them squirm.

Strip it right back and you can argue that the Courtiers (big business and others) have always fawned over the Emperor in the expectation of patronage, protection, and privilege. It’s one of the reasons I voted Leave to get out of the same dynamic in the EU.
In some senses Twitter is unusual in that its ‘dance moves’ are being exposed, in detail, in their own words. I understand that there is more to come. Good. Perhaps historians will look back and identify this as a key inflection point when the old Elite lost their grip? I hope so.
