Goodbye So Long

Tosser.

Sir Elton John has become the latest celebrity to leave Twitter since its acquisition by Tesla boss Elon Musk.

The singer, a headline act for next year’s Glastonbury Festival, blamed the platform’s “change in policy” around misinformation without elaborating.

That ‘misinformation’ was the truth. The sceptics have been vindicated. We always knew we where right, but the big tech companies colluded with the rest of the media and government in stifling our voices. It seems that we have another vacuous sleb who thinks that playing a piano and singing makes him some sort of voice to be listened to on the matter of misinformation. That is for us to decide. If he wants to leave, goodbye and good riddance. The signatories of the Great Barrington Declaration were vilified and muted by the Californian scum. Yet they were right and the government was wrong as was the media, as were the tech companies. But Elton John thinks that there should be a policy on misinformation. No, there should not. Free speech is just that – people get to say stuff and we have to work it out for ourselves. That’s how free speech works. Elon Musk appears to get it. The fat singer doesn’t.

  1. Oh, noes. I are dervarstated. No longer will Reg be able to read about my adulation of him and all his works.
Wonder if he keeps twittering by the Dwight name? One can only hope.

  2. John’s job is to provide musical entertainment, and nothing more. If he obtains qualifications in epidemiology or virology, then I might listen to his views on covid. Until then, he should STFU.

  3. He’s a bit behind the times, isn’t he? Last I heard, the rats who jumped ship last month were beginning to crawl back.
