A daredevil has been killed after falling from the top of a 721ft high skyscraper that he had been scaling while on location in Hong Kong.

Remi Lucidi, 30, had a history of climbing various towers around the world whether they be buildings or more obscure structures such as cranes, bridges, pylons or even transmitters.

Lucidi, known as ‘Remi Enigma’ on social media, had reached the 68th floor of the 721ft Tregunter Tower, a residential block in Hong Kong’s upscale Mid-Levels area before his fatal fall.

The young adventurer had been seen by a maid knocking on the windows of the penthouse to get back inside the building, but fell to his death before any help could arrive.

This one gets a ‘meh’ from me. He knew what he was getting in to and paid the ultimate price. Darwin wins again.

  1. I feel sorry for the maid, and for the poor sods who had to clear up his remains. The idiot himself? Nah, not so much…

    • That’s pretty much where I stand on the jerks who trespass on the railway, get run over by a train and someone else (me at one time) has to deal with the aftermath.

      • Ditto.

I look at this sort of thing and I confess to sometimes being amazed, even awed, at the things that get done, but ultimately, it’s selfish thrill seeking.

He died through his own actions and for absolutely no other reason.

  2. I don’t think it was the fall that killed him, but rather the sudden stop at the end.

  3. Several of these pics show the idiot having apparently climbed tall buildings wearing a silly mask. Silly arse.
