While it is understandable from the parents’ point of view; given the judgement recently, the outcome is hardly a surprise. There is also something self destructive about using the legal system to keep a child alive when life is a misery and destined to be tragically short. Hard, I know, but letting go is sometimes the kindest thing to do.
