Following last week’s letter from South Gloucestershire Council regarding their home condition survey, a surveyor called today. This despite my letter to them stating that I did not wish to take part and would refuse entry to any surveyor. True to my word, I did just that.
Clearly taking note of letters is not part of South Gloucestershire’s modus operandi. They could have saved this fellow a trip out on a Saturday afternoon, along with the costs involved. But, no, as is usual, trying to communicate with government in all its horrible forms is a one way exercise in futility.
