Blogging has been light this past few days. I’m in France and dial-up is sufficiently painful to keep web browsing to a minimum. Not to mention all that grass cutting I’ve been doing.
Once I’ve got the satellite link up and working, I can browse properly. In the meantime, I managed to get a little photography in.

Ah, yes, one of the local residents… Along with the barn owl, praying mantis, spiders, butterflies and about twenty cats 😉
already looking forward to the christmas calendar on this standard.
What kit do you use Mark? A bridge cam?
John, I was thinking of doing a calendar of the Larzac area – scenes and wildlife. However, I’ll probably go back to using Lulu as the publisher. The end item is slightly more expensive, but it means I don’t have to fork out for thirty calendars and then try to sell them myself.
Paul, a Nikon Coolpix 5700. Pretty old tech by modern standards, but performs fairly well. I’m planning on getting one of the Olympus digital SLRs at some point.
Ah, I see. I have the Fuji F31fd – a lovely camera, and superb for those low-light situations when you need to take a photo of something but can’t really be lugging an SLR round.
I have an SLR but never use it. Please let me know how you get on.
