Who Lulz Now?

So the ringleaders of LulzSec are going down.

Some of the longest ever jail sentences for hacking have been handed down to four British members of the international computer hackers’ gang LulzSec who masterminded a string of sophisticated cyber-attacks on major global institutions from their bedrooms.

The four bragged of being “gods” and caused millions of pounds of damage in a three-month spree in 2011.

Whereas, in fact, they were just sad little criminals who have been caught, tried and sentenced. Good. Who’s lulzing now, eh?

  1. Seconded – although what makes these idiots see themselves as some sort of cross between Robin Hood and Spartacus, God only knows.

A thorough metaphorical boil on the bum!

  2. It might be better if instead of gloating there was some attempt at actually having security that worked. There is no shortage of hackers.

    • While there’s a point to be made about security, that’s a bit like saying girls who wear mini skirts are asking for it. The hackers are entirely to blame and yes, I’m happy to see them go down – I would be happier if it was for longer.
