To Kill the PM?

An assassination attempt on the Cameroid, eh? Although it’s hardly the stuff of JFK and certainly not the stuff conspiracy theories are made of. Mr Naz is a paranoid schizophrenic and upon being arrested confessed to setting out to kill the prime minister. Well, if he had in mind the Milipede as well, that would be no bad thing. After all, who would miss them?

Unfortunately….

Teesside Crown Court was told Naz was stopped at 04:00 BST on 16 July after going the wrong way down Camden High Street in north London in his Vauxhall Astra.

Come back Lee Harvey Oswald. Where are you when you are needed, eh?

Peter Wishlade, defending, said: “Mr Naz, when he is taking his medication, is perfectly calm, rational, articulate and easy to talk to, but unfortunately when not, he is inclined to delusions and regrettably he has endeavoured to carry them out.”

Presumably it was when he was taking his meds that he got the idea…

  1. Irfaq Naz, 34, had a 950,000-volt stun gun, hammers, kitchen knives, a machete and a samurai sword.

I’m surprised they didn’t fit in either how much benefit he was getting, or for the owner-occupied delusionals, the value of their houses. Anyway, everyone knows that what you need is a silver bullet.

A hospital order with a restriction order was imposed meaning Naz can only be released with the permission of the home secretary.

Oh, I see. Special restriction orders for them but everyone else has to take their chances with the mental health panels and the parole board. Remind me how many people have been freed in order to kill their relatives or a random stranger? No, don’t remind me. Only mark that politicians consider themselves a breed apart, which I think rather proves my point about the necessity of argent.
