Spanking Porn

Well, that title should generate a few clicks…

Joking aside, there is a serious point to be made. Maybe spanking isn’t your thing? Corporal punishment generally? No? What about fisting? Not your bag? Well, never mind. It doesn’t matter as no one is forcing  you to watch or take part in any of these activities. What matters is that this stuff and femdom, for example are enjoyed by consenting adults and going by the popularity of Fifty Shades of Grey a couple of years back, it may well be more mainstream than it is given credit for.

But, our lords and masters have decided for us what is and is not acceptable for consenting adults.

Pornography produced in the UK was quietly censored today through an amendment to the 2003 Communications Act, and the measures appear to take aim at female pleasure.

The Audiovisual Media Services Regulations 2014 requires that video-on-demand (VoD) online porn now adhere to the same guidelines laid out for DVD sex shop-type porn by the British Board of Film Censors (BBFC).

Never mind that the very existence of a board of censors is, itself an outrage in a civilised society, the state has decided that acts that consenting adults want to watch may not be made by British producers. The state has decided our morality for us. The fact that when it comes to morality the pornographer is way above the denizens of the state is another matter. How dare they!

Seemingly arbitrarily deciding what is nice sex and what is not nice sex, the board’s ruling on ‘content that is not acceptable’ (p.23) effectively bans the following acts from being depicted by British pornography producers:

Spanking

Caning

Aggressive whipping

Penetration by any object “associated with violence”

Physical or verbal abuse (regardless of  if consensual)

Urolagnia (known as “water sports”)

Role-playing as non-adults

Physical restraint

Humiliation

Female ejaculation

Strangulation

Facesitting

Fisting

Quite apart from this being no business of the state at all in any way shape or form, it also means that films  such as The Secretary could not be made in this country.

I recall as a child being outraged by the interfering, prod-nosed, self-righteous hag Mary Whitehouse deciding that I should not watch Tom and Jerry. Even as a child I realised that she was crossing a line. That line being; it was none of her damned business what I watched – after all, she wasn’t my mother and my mother was perfectly happy for me to watch it. If Whitehouse didn’t like a programme, she could press the “off” switch on her television. But, no, this creature, like all puritanical obsessives, wanted to prevent the rest of us watching anything of which she disapproved. I had hoped that when this vile haridan finally did the world a favour and popped her clogs and began her decent to the pit, the world would become a better place. I was young and naïve then. These days, I realise that the ghost of Mary Whitehouse is alive and kicking. Indeed, she is probably rattling her bones with glee at this announcement. Another puritan nail in the coffin of  liberty.

So, you may not be into female domination, spanking, adult role-play, or corporal punishment, but today, you became a little less free regardless. For today, the state decided yet again that it is your moral guardian, just as it did when it banned violent porn in the wake of one woman’s campaign to tell the rest of us what we are allowed to watch, just because she suffered the grief of a murdered daughter.

Remember folks, the state is not your friend, the state is not your friend, the state is not your friend.

  1. To be perfectly honest, I find pretty well all forms of porn boring and rather tiresome, but I don’t believe I have any right to impose that viewpoint on anyone else, or to restrict their activities in any way.

What is really obscene to this reasonably worldly and educated 65 yr-old, is that some moron thinks it is his right and duty to impose his/her views on me and/or my choices.

Subject to the few caveats I do agree with (all participants must be freely willing and consenting, no animals or children) then I do not agree that the state or any of its brain-dead apparatchiks has any right to interfere with the precious few freedoms we have left. The fact that it is a freedom I do not seek for myself is irrelevant.

A pox on them all, and ¡Viva la revolución!

  2. So if someone impersonates a child – ie “role-playing as non-adults” – this counts as illegal porn. I’m thinking of that old Harry Enfield series, with the toddler sketches. In these Enfield “humiliates” his sister and simulates (or “depicts”) “physical abuse” of her, two activities which will also be banned as illegal porn, even if the actors are not “role-playing as non-adults”. (Somehow I doubt that Jo Brand’s “verbal abuse” of men will be banned, though.)

    Quite.

But at least in Britain they are open about having one.

In Germany, it specifically sais in the constitrution, that “Eine Zensur findet nicht statt.” (There is no censorship).

    Really?

Then how do books get onto the “Black list?” A list of books banned, such as Mein Kampf, Myth of the 20th century, Jüde Suß, Ptotcols of the elders of Zion, and many others that are not only generaly banned, but a lot that are banned just in schools, etc.

Not only books, but symbols (Swastika, for example,) and even political party names, Deutsche Kommunist Partei (DKP,) (Or was it the Kommunist Partei Deutschlands (KPD) ONE of them. But they just changed their name, and carried on as normal.) Freie Deutsche Jugend (FDJ.)

    Hand signals (Hitlergruße)

    Phrases, such as “Deutschland erwach!”

There is no censor, but all these are censored…!!!???

  4. FT
For for very good unfortunate historical reasons, as you well know…
And, these are specifically banned by “Act of Parliament” (so to speak) & can be un-banned in future, if thought safe.
Exceptions are made for “cultural” purposes – for instance see the classic film: “Wings of Desire” [ Der Himmel über Berlin ] by Wim Wenders.

  5. Oh well that’s all my favourite site out of bounds then or should that be bonds….. Seriously though, who the fuck do these people think they are.
Pious prats I bet most of them have cruised by kink.com at one time or another, and it used to be the judiciary were the worst perverts out there.
If it’s consensual and private who the hell is anyone to tell anyone else they are disgusting.
After all the politicians kept Cynthia Pain in business for years.
And before anyone decided to have a pop OF COURSE if it’s children or animals it’s NOT CONSENSUAL and shouldn’t be allowed.

  6. Kath – you look great on that site you quoted. Is that FT next to you in the black leather trenchcoat? And Longrider in the tutu? Sadly such sites will have to be hosted abroad in future.
