Hmm. Well … I “got” all of them except one (didn’t know what the Bechdel Test was until I looked it up), but failed to find any of them even remotely funny, although one did elicit a sort of Christmas-cracker-joke-style “du-uuh.” Does that count?
Does one have to be clever to find them funny? If so, then there’s no hope for me …
Humour is a funny thing…
The Pavlov one tickled me and set me off. But, no, you don’t need to be especially smart to get them, just have been exposed to the concepts.
Nos 5 and 9 made me chuckle, the rest had me groaning because they’re so old. Apart from No 8 about the Bechdel test (More properly known as the Bechdel-Wallace test), which sank without trace in it’s own insipid obscurity.
Prep school stuff, frankly.
