Er, No…

EU leaders should be telling us to eat less meat.

“It is imperative for the EU to step up and change its policies to accelerate a transition towards healthy and sustainable diets that are higher in plant-based foods and include considerably less and better produced meat, dairy and eggs,” says the letter, which is co-signed by WWF, Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace.

Ah, right, the usual bunch of taxpayer-funded troughers. The EU has no business telling anyone to do anything because it is none of their damned business what we eat. I don’t recall giving them any authority over me and I won’t be told by them what to put in my mouth. As for CAP subsidies, the sooner that is gone the better. There should be no subsidies.

  1. Oh sod it, and we’ve just bought a lovely leg of lamb for Easter, the primary religious festival in our country!

Aaah well, they can all die off in the EU when the subsidies dry up and the gimmegrants can’t get anything they want because they can’t understand the language.

    Tough old world isn’t it!

  2. WWF, Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth, among the most egregious, lying, evil bastards on the planet. Their position on any matter is easy to evaluate, it will be wrong and the opposite will be the correct course of action.

  3. I don’t eat meat but this kind of thing makes me want to start. The trouble is I don’t really like it much. I do find it tiresome that politicians seem to think that we are all moronic sheep that need them to tell us what is best for us.

  4. Just another of Adolf Hitler’s policies being foisted on us, to go with no drinking, no smoking, and of course lots of anti Semitism. A lot of the green policies came from the National Socialist German Workers Party as well
