This is a really odd one. The aerial shots I’ve seen of the passenger train seem to show no damage, so it appears to have been the sudden braking that caused the deaths. But six? That’s a bit high.
Sudden braking wouldn’t do that. So, yes, odd.
They showed better pictures on last night’s BBC news – it looks like barrels of beer went through the side windows.
