I’m Confused

We had people going to court because they didn’t want us to leave the EU without a deal. They specifically objected to parliament being prorogued because they thought the Boris would crash us out of the EU without parliament having a say over any deal.

So, now he has a deal.

And…

They want another delay. For fuck’s sake!

Actually, I’m not remotely confused. They don’t want a deal because they don’t want us to leave. It’s as simple as that and the longer this farce continues, the more obvious it becomes.

  1. On the other hand if the EU refuse an extended exit we leave at the end of the month. Then the measures the Government has agreed on will be brought into play- at least on our side of the channel. So the deal will in effect go through without a vote.

So Boris takes us out , businesses have some sort of blueprint to work with and all the self righteous MPs can say ‘it’s not my fault ‘ if things go wrong. Of course it could all go right!

It is no good delaying things for people to have a vote on a deal if there is only one deal on the table . Or are we going to be asked to vote on each clause and subsection as we might agree with some of it but not other parts. I was always under the impression that we vote MPs in to decide all the nitty gritty things. But then again it will be our fault not their fault if things go wrong!

Roll on 31 Oct and lets hope it’s over with by 1 Nov.
