That’s More Like It

Send the scumbags to gaol.

Extinction Rebellion protesters who attack our way of life should face jail, Priti Patel warns today.

The Home Secretary has ordered a review of the law aimed at toughening sentences for the environmental extremists after they blockaded newspaper print works in a bid to stifle free speech.

Options being considered include designating the group as an organised crime gang, which would leave militants open to the threat of up to five years in jail.

Writing in the Daily Mail today, Miss Patel says the activists should ‘face the full force of the law’ for pursuing ‘guerrilla tactics… that seek to undermine and cause damage to our society’.

Before anyone suggests that I am undermining the right to protest, I am not. I have no objection to anyone protesting. I do, however, object to people who use force and blocking roads, disrupting business and preventing people going about their daily activities crosses that line. XR is a militant, extreme Marxist organisation that is seeking to use these behaviours to undermine the rule of law and the democratic process. The law, then must be invoked to deal with them.

If all they were doing was marching along Whitehall with banners on a Saturday afternoon and holding a rally, you wouldn’t hear a peep from me. Indeed, I would uphold their right to dissent. As it is. I want the bastards locked up for what they are doing.

‘We must defend ourselves against this attack on capitalism, our way of life and ultimately our freedoms.’

And that’s the point here. Like their nasty siblings, BLM, they are the enemies of liberty and need to be dealt with accordingly.

  1. Priti Patel SAYS all this, but takesno action.
If only she could find out whoever is the Home Secretary and complain to them..

  2. It’s infuriating, like watching a crucial match and seeing a striker miss an open goal again and again and again. They already have a considerable electoral mandate for such actions, and the potential rewards for actually acting and getting them done would be enormous. Yet they just don’t seem to have the mettle to follow through.

Would there were someone who believed in deeds and not words.

  3. Priti Patel says strong words again and does nothing – illegals, XR, BLM, RoP Rape….

Review – kick into long grass

Plod could have used Dictator Hancock’s 5b law on BLM & XR as they’ve done to Piers Corbyn twice at “Freedom” demos

  4. As these XR types have clearly said that they would like to “Put a bullet” in people’s heads, perhaps a little more of what was handed to them when they tried to stop commuters getting to work might be in order. Repeat as necessary.

“Sorry, were those your bollocks I stepped on Mr XR Protester? I do apologise but I was daydreaming. Please stop screaming. Whoops. Was that your throat? Dear me I am being clumsy today.”

At least it would stop the bastards breeding.

  5. I was caught up in traffic during one of their ‘commando actions’ last year.
One young lad got out of his van telling them “look I agree with absolutely everything you say but if I’m not at work I’m 15 minutes I’ll miss a days pay ” *
A woman who I know to be a right on earth mother Uni lecturer was yelling “You Self-Righteous bunch of Shits !”

    * that’s the gig economy for you I suppose.
