Presumably…

We are paying for this fuckwittery.

MPs will be given lessons on woke language and history by consultants who declared the words ‘lady’ and ‘pensioner’ to be offensive.

I draw a pension, ergo, I am a pensioner. Jesus this stuff really is utter cack. But..

Parliament has paid Challenge Consultancy £7,000 to design a course on ‘unconscious bias’ for MPs. In total the company, which has also trained BBC staff, has raked in nearly £800,000 from Parliament for conduct lessons in what one MP last night called ‘an absurd waste of taxpayers’ money’.

Yes, absolutely, it is a waste of our money and I object to what is nothing more than extreme leftist indoctrination.

The solution is simple, if MPs wish to attend this training, then they pay for it out of their own pockets.

  1. Although I’m retired, pensioner isn’t a word that I would use to describe myself but it is technically accurate is it not? But why the hell would I find it offensive if someone described me as such? I have pretty much got my shit together at this stage of my life but I still have more important things to worry about than someone calling me a pensioner. What kind of pathetic loser gets upset about such trivial matters?

I actually brought my retirement forward two years after having arguments at work due to my refusal to take part in team building bullshit.

    • I’ve just realised my last sentence is ambiguous due to a missing comma.

  2. Tangentially, there is a brilliant example of Newspeak on the BBC website today around the stabbings (eight with one fatality) in Birmingham – “There is no evidence that it is a hate crime.” Well phew, thank goodness for that! We wouldn’t want anyone to be stabbed or murdered by someone with ‘hate’ in their heart, would we? That would be beyond the pale.

  3. In the thoroughbred horse breeding industry a pensioner is a stallion retired from stud due to declining fertility. Are you sure it is nothing to do with that? Or do you think MPs and the wokerati have never heard of horses? Well perhaps we’d better not tell them or they will start suggesting equine fuckwittery at our expense!

Oh and incidentally, when he was 18 my paternal grandfather was a pensioner of Trinity College, Cambridge. Is that relevant?

  4. Chelsea Pensioner, Child & Pensioner Discounts, Pension Plan….

    “peaceful stabbing” – superb

I had to attend one of these re-education training courses. Left after Black course leader spent 20 minutes on “The Three Little Pigs is racist”

Yes, MPs should pay and not an expense

  5. The fact that the BBC had employed these shysters must indicate that somewhere in hidden recesses of Broadcasting House there may be a few normal people sheltering. My money is on the engineers.
There may be hope for that organisation yet.

    • Ahhh … But engineers rarely, if ever, get to management positions. They are too busy making and doing things that afre useful. The MBA’s and accountants get to run things.

Check out how difficult it is if you are an engineer to requisition a screwdriver to do your job and while you are filling out the forms in the accountants office, count the number of potted plants and the number of times a week a contractor comes in to water and pamper them.

If that doesn’t convince you of the managements priorities, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale. Small denomination, used notes only in a plain brown paper envelope to the usual address …
