The EU – nasty, spiteful and childish.

Tensions between the EU and UK over vaccine supplies escalated again today as inspectors were sent to check delays at an AstraZeneca plant in Belgium are real – and MEPs threatened ‘trade war’.

As the row threatens to spiral out of control, there are claims officials have been sent from the medicines agency to the firm’s plant to check it genuinely has problems producing doses.

It comes as the bloc tries to turn the screw on the UK-based pharma giant to bail out its shambolic vaccine rollout.

This is what we walked away from. An out of control inefficient and downright spiteful bureaucracy.

Now all we need is to bring our own government under some sort of democratic control…

  1. There will still be some who will say that these shenanigans prove that leaving was a bad idea. It will be interesting to see if this screw up leads to any more countries wanting to leave.

    • Could also be interesting to see if it might influence whether companies want to stay in the EU.

      Not sure I’d be too happy if I were the head of AZ. All the contract parts I’ve read, well difficult to believe a trade bloc agreed to that, the EU appears to be fvcked.

  5. As I see it the 4th Reich has been indulging in economic warfare for years so now it’s not really a surprise that they’re turning to biological warfare as well.

    After all they did warn us of ‘consequences’…
