Welcome to the Party

Funny how attitudes change when it’s one of their own on the receiving end of allegations.

Alec Baldwin has posted a 14-minute video rant on Instagram, hitting out at cancel culture and defending due process amid sexual misconduct allegations leveled at New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Woody Allen.

The Hollywood actor, 62, shared the video from his home in the Hamptons on Sunday – less than a week after he posted another lengthy rant slamming ‘a**holes’ on Twitter.

In his new video, Baldwin again lambasted social media users  – this time targeting those who are eager to ‘cancel’ famous men on the basis of unproven allegations.

Although he did not mention any names specifically, Baldwin appeared to be referring to both Cuomo and Allen.

Of course he is correct if a little late to this particular party. So I only have two words for this unpleasant little man: Brett Kavanaugh. Where was Baldwin then?

  1. But he’s a lefty progressive!
Above reproach, he supports all the causes, says the right things, chants the right chants!
You can not hold him to the impossible standards that he holds everyone else!

    That would be unfair……..

    Diversity!

    Not of opinion of course

Ah, but Baldwin like the other lefties only cares about cancel culture affecting other lefties and people like him. He doesn’t, has never nor will ever given a flying phuck about people like Brett Kavanaugh. As with all these types, pontificating about their virtue on Twatter is more about the fear of their own (similar and often worse vices), being reflected back on them. It’s hypocrisy at it’s worst, but then again, he’s just an actor, not a politician or legislator, so it’s not like his worthless views are anything more than hot air.
