Race to the Bottom

Fairly predictably, the Sewell report into racism in the UK has come in for a deal of flak. This is one of those situations where you measure the worth of something by the ferocity of the opposition against it and in this case every race grifter that we have come used to hearing spouting the waah, racism, bullshit has crawled out of the woodwork to condemn it.

So, my own gut feeling is that it is probably right over the target. Britain is not institutionally racist given that there is no such thing. What we have is the usual suspects having had their nice little grift exposed and they are blinking in the sunlight and they really, really don’t like it.

As we have come to expect from these dreadful people, they are the racists here.

But in a joint statement released last night, they raised concerns about abuse they have received in recent days, including from those in Westminster.

They highlighted a tweet from Labour MP Clive Lewis showing a picture of the Ku Klux Klan with the caption: ‘Move along. Nothing to see here. #RaceReport.’

The majority of the people involved are from ethnic minority backgrounds and if there is one thing the race grifters can’t stand it’s when one of their pets wanders off the reservation. They will not hesitate to indulge in racist terminology or insults on such people when they dare to think for themselves and go against the grift.

Critics called the study by the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities a ‘whitewash’ after it found no conclusive evidence of institutional racism in Britain.

No, it found this because there isn’t any. Britain is probably the least racist country on the planet, but the population is becoming increasingly weary of race grifters banging on about slavery that finished over two hundred years ago, while the complainants remain remarkably silent about African involvement or more importantly, African involvement that goes on today. We don’t whine like a jet engine that’s been left on overnight about the Barbary slave trade that went on for a damned sight longer than the transatlantic trade, because we are adults and live in the present and everyone involved is long dead. Institutional racism can be filed under the same fraudulent bullshit as Islamophobia and should be robustly ignored along with the screeching voices of those who make a living out of peddling this poison.

  1. ‘Britain is probably the least racist country on the planet’

Yup, seconded. I’m half English/Latvian. BIL is married to a 2nd gen Chinese girl, SIL was with a black fella for a number years, he was a waste of space, but nobody batted an eyelid.

We really don’t give a damn. But if this bull continues, people eventually will. When you divide people into groups you certainly don’t unite them in harmony.

I do wonder though whether this is part of divide and rule thing. That LGB thing is getting ever longer. I was OK with LGB, really it should be HLGB, or in other words PEOPLE since they’re all forms of sexuality that have been around forever. Trans not so much.

But yeah, all bollcks. There are still some arseholes around though and you can’t legislate those away.

    • If only the LGBABC group were not already argueing among themselves and accusing the others of prejudice. They eat their own.

  2. The UK seems to continue to be a really popular destination for illegal immigrants considering how badly we treat foreigners here.

  3. Racism is currently “A nice little earner, my son” as Arthur Daley would have said. There are a great many people making quite a lot of money by promoting “anti” racism that ultimately is anything but. In order to keep the wheels on the Gravy Train turning, new and more outrageous forms are invented. Up to two or three years ago, who had heard of “microaggression” or “critical race theory”? Some people have done very well indeed with sinecures, seats in the Lords and an obediently fawning BBC giving their views publicity and ensuring nobody looks behind the curtains.

  4. Yet more proof of my opinion that “to cry racism you have to be racist”. Mind you it might, usefully, be altered to “to cry racism you have to be showing a profit from it”.
