1. I tend to have a live and let live approach to life unless someone is really causing me a problem so I’ve no time for this guy. English isn’t his first language, does that mean that he brought his prudery with him from foreign parts?

2. I think the title of his post has to be answered in the affirmative. Yes he is being an #ssh*le. Case closed.

   • Quite. If they don’t do that in his country, perhaps he should return there and save the rest of us his sanctimonious prudery.

3. Some sympathy for MONA.I lived in a block of flats once and the couple downstairs used to claim the communal garden for themselves every time the sun came out- intruders were not welcome.They rented so their rights were divine.

8. Its interesting that we are getting a lot of ‘we need to protect women from harassment and abuse in the streets’ type guff from all the usual sources at the moment. What is never mentioned is who exactly is perpetrating all this abuse. Its implied that all men are involved and there is a sudden wave of blokes called Steve and Dave wandering around making improper suggestions to women and even assaulting them in broad daylight.

   The more suspicious among us might consider however that the the current rise in public harassment of women (and I don’t doubt that it is real) could just possibly be linked to the rapid rise in the number of people arriving in this country from cultures where the idea of women’s rights is something you laugh at. And then slap the b*tch for suggesting such a heresy.

   • What’s ignored is men receive similar or more harassment and abuse in the streets – how about plod protect everyone equally
