People who have already had three dioses of the Covid vaccine will now be asked to get a jab every 13 months, a minister has said.
Nadhim Zahawi, the former vaccines minister,m says the Government is planning for an annual Covid vaccine scheme.
Speaking to The Sun, Mr Zahawi said: “Ultimately our plan, we will, I hope be the first major economy to transition from pandemic to endemic and have an annual vaccination programme.”
If only those who are vulnerable were to be offered it – as has been the case with flu up until now – I wouldn’t be concerned. As it is, the constant pressure for the rest of us to have it and that continuing along with restrictions designed to force us, leaves me feeling mightily depressed. Truly we are in a dystopian nightmare that even Eric Blair couldn’t have predicted.
A rolling vaccination programme might be justified for a high mortality disease, but not for one where the figures have to be padded in order to make it look more scary. Listing deaths caused by SARS/COV-2 along with those for people who tested positive for viral fragments (?) post mortem.
At this point I’m wondering whose pockets are being lined.
