So apparently one person has died with omicron.
At least one British patient has died from the Omicron coronavirus variant, Boris Johnson revealed today.
The Prime Minister said the new strain was also causing hospital admissions and the ‘best thing’ people could do was get their booster jab.
Mr Johnson warned against being complacent about the new strain amid claims by doctors in South Africa that it is milder than past variants.
Speaking during a visit to a vaccination clinic in Paddington, West London, he said: ‘Sadly yes Omicron is producing hospitalisations and sadly at least one patient has been confirmed to have died with* Omicron.
‘So I think the idea that this is somehow a milder version of the virus, I think that’s something we need to set on one side and just recognise the sheer pace at which it accelerates through the population. So the best thing we can do is all get our boosters.’
Okay, so I am to set aside the information coming from people who actually know what they are talking about and actual data to support it, in favour of this moron’s drivel? What underlying conditions did this person have? We don’t know, do we? How old were they? What was their state of health prior to hospitalisation? All we know is that someone has died who, prior to death, has tested positive for this strain. Much like seasonal flu, people died who had flu that finished them off because they were dying already. It is entirely possible – indeed, probable – that this is the case here, given that elsewhere, the variant is demonstrating that it is mild and the data supports that. But, no, one person has died, so we must all panic.
I’ll tell you what I’m setting aside – the inane wibble that comes out of this buffoon’s mouth (and that lackwit Half-Whitty as well as Penfold, Vallance and the rest of the charlatans in SAGE). And, no, I’m not getting any vaccines. We have no long term data regarding possible side effects and they are being used under an emergency licence, so I’ll exercise bodily autonomy and Boris Johnson can do one. I will also be ignoring all and any rules this cretin mandates as well.

One worrying aspect that doesn’t seem to have hit the media, is the deaths of otherwise fit and extremely healthy sportspeople, I think the figures are over 300 hundred… Just seems strange, could it be effects of the jabs?

Of course this litany of experienced and extremely fit footballers suffering heart issues has nothing to do with the campaign of mass vaccination with known blood clotting agents, no none whatsoever!

If he was any kind of statesman he would be saying the exact opposite. He would be saying something like, “someone has died but, keep it in perspective, this is out of a population of 65 million. All the indications are that the moronic variant is less serious than the earlier ones and we are returning to normal life with immediate effect.”

I am high risk due to age and a lung condition. I reluctantly took the two AZ shots, refused Pfizer as I was unhappy with the mRNA. This time I am done! No more, no booster as I have no choice of ‘vaccine’ and I can see it going on forever even though no one knows the long or even shot term effects an I consider giving it to children as child abuse.
Pretty much the same here, except I have an autoimmune disease, not a lung condition. I also took the AZ vaccine in spite of the lack of long term data. I’m 72, any long term adverse effects aren’t likely to inconvenience me much. If I were 40 or 50 and in the rude good health I enjoyed then I would probably have refused the vaccine. And as you say, vaccinating children for a disease that doesn’t affect them is criminal.

There have been adverse reactions to Moderna and Pfizer jabs in younger people developing pericarditis and myocarditis plus some inflammtion of the coronary arteries. I have decided I am not having the booster at it is either Moderna or Pfizer.
In the US, you get myocarditis in about 700 young boys per year.
This year? Apparently, it’s 13000 already. And unlike the leaflet given to my son, it is not a mild disease.
