Living through a heatwave with suspected Covid symptoms?
Surely the sweltering temperatures are enough to contend with, without having a cough, fever, scratchy throat or loss of taste on top.
But with almost 175,000 new coronavirus cases reported in the past week in the UK alone, there will be some people in Britain living through that very scenario.
And?
Households with a stash of lateral flow tests left can normally self-diagnose whether they have coronavirus or not in just a few short minutes.
However, experts have warned that the record-breaking heat being experienced in parts of the UK could change the effectiveness of the tests.
We know what they symptoms are, so if you experience them, then you probably have it. Does it matter if you have a test confirming what you’ve already figured out? And who keeps a stash of tests – apart from those still subjected to this bullshit for their work?
Heat above 30C can impact on the effectiveness of a lateral flow test, meaning your result may not be accurate if taken during the current warm conditions.
So don’t take one. If you need to, go to bed, drink plenty of fluids and take paracetamol. Problem solved.
It might mean that those living in the hottest parts of the country might need to take action before going through the rigmarole of a coronavirus test.
No. Just don’t bother.
Jesus, but these people have taken two separate artificial panics and rolled them into one to make an even bigger one. Truly, we are going to the dogs.
Gone, not going. To the dogs.
I have resolved to simply try and enjoy the decline, as the only way of truly fixing the country will never happen.
Hopefully that’s just Mirror journalists, not everyone.

Do you not have night in the UK? Is it over 30 all the time?
I don’t think its households that they’re getting the figures from, its anecdotal, but speaking to a nurse who works at the local NHS Hospital, the staff have to take 2 tests per week, even if they have no symptoms. Add to that those in hospital are tested soon after arrival on the ward and then are tested weekly in line with the staff. I don’t know how many hospitals there are in the UK, but if its around 1000 to 1500 then maybe the numbers are just from NHS staff alone?
“But with almost 175,000 new coronavirus cases reported in the past week in the UK alone”
Since the “Vaccinated” now account for as many as 9 out of 10 cases, think how much less of a problem “Living through a heatwave with suspected Covid symptoms” would have been, had they not fallen for the scam…
Saw a friend last night who casually informed me that she had covid last week, just 2 days after we had dinner with a group of friends (the amount of friends getting covid around me is crazy but my wife and I seem to navigate these waters unaffected. Although injected, only because we needed to travel and not by choice, we had covid back in December 20, which was not as bad as tonsilitis and lasted 2 days. I guess natural immunity works…). That from a person who had covid back in December and had her whole family masked in their house. To no avail, since they all got it anyway back then…
When I asked her whether she felt it normal to have had covid twice, in spite of her wondrous injections, she falls back to “it killed many people at the beginning” which is a mantra for a lot of early injection adopters. They all always know someone their age or younger that died from covid, and when I point out that statistically, they have more chance to win the lottery than to know such a person or that the average age of death is the same or higher that life expectancy, their cognitive dissonance prevents them from connecting the dots.
At least now, they don’t freak out about it anymore. There is that.

*Holds up hand*
I was required to take a lateral flow test a few month ago before a hospital visit so I got two boxes from Boots. The NHS then sent me a box, I forget why, so I have a stash of about 20 tests. Made in China, by the way. Yet another way the Chinese are profiting from their pandemic
Hmmm… I wonder if they have an expiry date? I just checked: the first two: June next year, the third one January 2024. I’ll keep them until then and throw them out.
I never had any. Still don’t.
I can send you some. 😉
I think I can pass on that one. Thanks all the same. 😀
