A company has sparked outrage after allegedly asking for only white candidates to apply for jobs.
Arthur Grand Technologies, based in Virginia in the south east of the US, has been criticised after posting a job advert on Tuesday allegedly asking for “white candidates” to apply for its business analyst role in its Salesforce and insurance claims team in Dallas, Texas.
Given that there has been a trend to exclude candidates based upon their skin colour – i.e. white candidates – in our new woke world, a little pushback is welcome. Oh, but it’s racist. Yes, of course it is. That’s the point. Excluding any candidate on the basis of race is racist.
Unfortunately, it appears it might be a hoax.
It said: “This job posting was neither authorised nor posted by Arthur Grand or its employees.
“A former employee took an existing posting and added discriminatory language, then reposted it through his own account.
It still makes the point though. Excluding white candidates is racist, so reversing it simply makes the point.
He printed it, probably when he was drunk or otherwise intoxicated. And then lied about it when he got caught out.
