Marcus Decker is serving one of the longest sentences ever passed for a non-violent protest in British history after a Just Stop Oil demonstration in October. He is a German citizen with leave to remain in the UK, but faces automatic deportation after serving the two years and seven months sentence.

To which most reasonable people will say: good and good riddance. This self-righteous arsehole disrupted an arterial route for his own self gratification, so rotting in prison and then being shown the door is a perfectly reasonable response.

Threat of deportation on top of imprisonment, she said, had “broken him”. If he was forced to leave Britain, with Brexit and her children’s father in the UK, it would make it very difficult for the family to be together, she said.

Actions have consequences. He chose to break the law and this is the consequence. My heart bleeds.

Cullen-Davies said the “double punishment” of Decker was “devastating and unjust”.

“As a result of their protest, Marcus was sentenced to two years and seven months in prison. But if such a high prison sentence was not bad enough, Marcus, a German citizen, is now being threatened with deportation,” she said.

Nothing is unjust about it. He chose to engage in this stunt, now he pays the price. Too bad. Piss off to Germany and let them keep him.

“If deported, he would be separated from his family, his home, community and adopted country. Marcus has already been separated from them for seven months and now he might never come home again.”

Whose fault is this? If you go to another country to live, you abide by the laws or take the consequences. This is entirely self-inflicted, unlike the disruption caused by this arsehole on the innocent people trying to get to work by his puerile stunt. Fuck off back to Germany.

Indigo Rumbelow, a Just Stop Oil spokesperson, said: “We will be sending a clear message to the home secretary that the cowardly ‘double punishment’ of peaceful people in civil resistance to stop government criminality and protecting the lives of their families will not go unchallenged.

“We are demanding that Marcus stays in the UK and is not deported at the end of his sentence so that he can remain with his family, friends and stepchildren.”

Oh, they are demanding again. Scum, the lot of them. People who make demands need to learn that they will not be met. If they break the law, then the full force of the law needs to be brought down on them. This man is the architect of his own misfortune. He was not peacefully protesting, he was breaking the law.

A Home Office spokesperson said: “Foreign nationals who commit crimes here in the UK will face the full force of the law, including deportation at the earliest opportunity for those eligible.”

Good. Let’s hope they mean it and this piece of shit is deported, never to darken our shores again. We have enough with the home grown scumbags without imported ones.

  1. There is absolutely the square root of fuck all stopping her and the kids moving to Germany to be with him. Let her join him in Germany if she is so heartbroken about being separated from the arsehole.

    Good riddance to bad rubbish.

That’s what all this is about, the squealing bitch will claim that as the ‘family’ lives here, he won’t get chucked back!

It’s happening all the time, and the Home Office, (or the Leteverybuggerinregardless Office) will roll over yet again!

  3. FYI: Over the last few days I’ve been getting a lot of “SSL handshake failed” with “Error code 525” when I try to open this site. Usually, I try again and it lets me in. Today it took four or five tries before it worked. I don’t know if there’s anything you can do about it but I thought you might like to know.

  4. Yup, SSL handshakes on Chrome as well. Yesterday I couldn’t get in at all. Today it is just on individual articles.

  5. Indigo Rumbelow is a familiar name. If I remember right, she herself has had her collar felt at least once in the course of breaking the law.

  6. Does this mean that any new safety-seeking guests who are living at his majesty’s pleasure will also be deported on release or are they considered British citizens??

  7. “Indigo Rumbelow”, that’s a name that screams “Self Righteous Cunt”.

Also getting the SSL handshake errors LR (Fri 30th June) – might be worth checking the certificate settings for the connection from Cloudflare to your backend server – I saw this once many years ago on a Linux backend, Apache was having a shit fit.
